Switch Will Support Reno Data Center Campus with Reclaimed Water

Switch will use reclaimed water to operate its Citadel data center campus near Reno, tapping into a new pipeline that will bring treated effluent water to the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center (TRI).

EdgeCore Launches, Plans $2 Billion in Data Center Development

EdgeCore Internet Real Estate has launched with plans to build large data center campuses in six North American markets. The new company is led by former CoreSite CEO Tom Ray, and its lead backer is GIC, the sovereign wealth fund for the government of Singapore.

Switch has opened a 1.3 million square foot data center at its new Citadel Campus near Reno, the largest purpose-built colo center ever. The company plans more than 7 million SF of data centers in Reno.
