Peak10

Peak 10’s data center campus in Tampa Founded in 2000, Peak 10 is one of the older providers of colocation and managed services. Peak 10 began as a regional provider focused on the Southeastern U.S. to accommodate customers of varying needs. In the summer of 2017, the company acquired ViaWest, expanding their network of data centers to the West Coast and international markets. In 2018, the companies rebranded as Flexential.

East Meets West: Peak 10 Acquires ViaWest for $1.7 Billion

The merger mania in the data center industry continued today as Peak 10 acquired ViaWest from parent company Shaw Communications in a $1.675 billion all-cash transaction.
