The DCIM pure play has developed a number of new features, including bidirectional integrations with VMware’s vSphere on AWS and across hybrid clouds.
DCIM specialist Sunbird Software continues to steadily add new features and capabilities to its platform. With its latest release, the company has focused on increased usability, including advanced search and reporting capabilities, and enabling the third-party IT management systems it integrates with to access its data sources, bidirectionally and in real time. It also has a new integration with VMware that extends to VMware’s vSphere on AWS and across hybrid clouds.

By re-architecting and steadily expanding the functionality of its DCIM platform, Sunbird has attracted a solid customer base with some big-name clients. With its new integration capabilities, Sunbird should be well positioned to compete for IT users and to attract large, sophisticated datacenter operators.
