Top data center executives from Google, Microsoft and Uber headline the DCD Enterprise New York conference for 2017, which will be held at the Marriott Marquis in Manhattan on March 14-15. Google’s Joe Kava (Google) will present the keynote on “Powering a Fleet of Data Centers Using Renewable Energy Sources.” Kava will then be joined by Christian Belady (Microsoft) and Dean Nelson (Uber & Infrastructure Masons) for a discussion on renewable strategies for cloud builders.

The event is expected to attract 1,750 professionals whose day job it is to keep the digital world up and running. From “mud to cloud”, this event covers the full ecosystem for how enterprise data centers are being re-defined and how the economics of digital business, IT and data center service delivery is being re-shaped.

Scheduled sessions include:

  • Hear from Steve Lerner, Director, Architect, Performance Engineering at eBay as he sets out what enterprise network planners and technical leads need to understand about the CDN market.
  • With digital enterprise transformation well under way for most and maturing for some, Bill McHenry, MD, Global Head of Critical Systems & Engineering, JP Morgan Chase and Eyal Itskovich, Manager, Global Infrastructure Business Operations, LinkedIn discuss how to build the unknowable into corporate strategic planning.
  • Join Dan Gaffney, Director, Global Critical Facilities, BNY Mellon and Herb Alvarez, Director, Global Engineering & Critical Facilities, AIG as they tackle the difficulties of delivering complex hybrid computing models

DatacenterDynamics now uses a “free to attend by invitation” model. An overview from DCD:  “This means that individuals that meet our qualification criteria can enjoy a complimentary pass to DatacenterDynamics conferences. We work with our partners to send invitations to individuals we believe would stand to benefit from participating, but also are happy for individuals that meet the criteria to apply for places themselves online. The registration process even gives you the opportunity to recommend your colleagues.”
