Ponemon Institute and Emerson Network Power are pleased to present the results of the first Emerson Data Center IQ Quiz, part of the Data Center Performance Benchmark Series, which provides an industry-wide perspective on Availability, Security, Productivity, Cost and Speed of Deployment. The purpose of this study is to determine the domain knowledge of data center personnel while also collecting data on application of best practices and current operating conditions within participants’ data centers.
Why look for a provider with an “enterprise hybrid solution”? What is it about the IO data center solution that delivers truly scalable capacity where the status quo cannot? The IO data center solution delivers vertical and horizontal scalability – it is a data center solution that flexes with your business. So you can scale up and down by increasing density (vertical scale), by expanding your footprint (horizontal scale), and by bursting or migrating workloads into an on-premises private cloud. To be clear: IO allows customers to dial up and dial down as demand changes. It’s an elastic colocation model.
The evolved data center model allows you only buy the space and power you want. Where the traditional colocation model locks you into long-term contracts for power you may not use, the evolved pay- for-use model eliminates the need to forecast IT demand and provides control over capacity. As a result, you reduce waste and align your data center to the needs of your business.
